Assist in developing

Contracts & Procurement
Administer
contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements
in line with FIDIC and company standards.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and recommend awards.
Prepare and review
variation orders, claims, and contractual correspondences
.
Measurement & Valuation
Conduct accurate
quantity take-offs
for roads, drainage, sewerage, potable water, and utility networks.
Validate contractor progress claims and recommend payment certificates.
Ensure proper cost allocation against completed works.
Commercial & Financial Control
Monitor project costs versus budget and highlight potential overruns.
Conduct
value engineering and cost-saving analyses
.
Prepare
monthly commercial reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates
.
Claims & Dispute Resolution
Support preparation and defense of contractual
claims, EOTs, and variations
.
Maintain documentation for dispute resolution and arbitration if required.
Coordination & Reporting
Liaise with project teams, consultants, and clients on commercial issues.
Attend progress and commercial meetings.
Provide training and guidance to junior QS staff.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in
Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
or equivalent.
Professional certifications preferred (
RICS / MRICS
or equivalent).
Minimum
10 years' experience
, with at least
5 years in Roads & Utilities projects
.
Strong knowledge of
FIDIC contracts, tendering, and claims management
.
Proficiency in
CostX, Candy, Excel, and other QS software tools
.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
