to oversee the commercial and contractual management of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across high-profile projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in MEP quantity surveying within large-scale construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for MEP systems.
Manage all aspects of cost control, valuation, and procurement for MEP trades.
Evaluate and administer subcontractor packages and supplier agreements.
Assess and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders.
Support the project team with regular financial reporting and forecasting.
Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure contractual compliance with industry standards
Liaise with consultants, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for project coordination.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
at least 5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on MEP works in GCC countries but preferably in Qatar.
Strong knowledge of MEP materials, systems, codes, and construction methodologies.
Familiar with local and international contract forms
Proficiency in MS Excel, cost estimation software
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
