- Leads participation in Vendor Pre-Qualification, Reviewing, commenting & witnessing vendor ITP, FAT, SAT, PAT, RFQ\xe2\x80\x99s (Request for Quotation), TBE\xe2\x80\x99s (Technical Bid Evaluation) procedure and work method statement as per project specifications and Communicate lessons learnt across all disciplines to avoid reoccurrence.
- To provide technical expertise support to project management on HVAC system activities through all phases of projects, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Hand-over of Project facilities to End Users
- Exercise proactive approach on inspection and communicate remedial actions as necessary to Sub contractor production supervisors and other disciplines
- Ensure that required tests and inspection as required in the project specification are performed and verified in a timely manner as per PQP and ITP\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
- Ensure that defects discovered during inspection are properly and accurately communicated to respective production Supervisors with recommended remedial actions and such defects are rectified.
- Report, Maintain and Investigate Material Discrepancy report.
- Raise Non- Conformity Report (NCR) relating to Product, Process and monitor correction and corrective actions with root cause analysis for client closeout.
- Actively leads in safety briefings and toolbox talks for HVAC system.
- Monitor QC HVAC inspector on assigned project to ensure compliance to requirements.
- Inspection of all material receiving, and installation activities related to Architectural such as pinning works (stud welding)/ fire rated insulation on wall, deck, roof /liner panels/false ceiling/ external fire doors and windows installation/ floor screed & underlayment/tiles/ toilet module piping and installation and room completion inspection as per IFC drawings.
- Any other project specific task assigned by Function manager.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical engineering with more than 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in oil and gas industries (offshore) with Specific HVAC experience in Quality control and Quality assurance activities,
- Computer Skills, Good written and reading English skills
- Well conversant with international Standards like ISO, SMACNA, ASHRAE, AHRI, AMCA, ASTM, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, UL, NEBB. etc.
- Full knowledge of all aspects of HVAC systems; design, equipment, materials and quality activities required for construction and Pre & Commissioning of the WORK.
- Ensure HVAC construction team r are performing the work as per the Client/ contract Specifications. IFC drawing, applicable codes, standards, ITP and good engineering practices and notify client for joint inspection.
