Job Description

  • Conduct routine laboratory analysis of raw materials, bulk formulated product, finished goods and stability samples.
  • Interpret and document test results, calculations, observations and complete report summaries and logbooks.
  • Initiate OOS investigation when required and notify Quality Control Management with the non-conforming results
  • Support the Quality Control Management in the laboratory OOS investigation process.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, healthy working environment and work area by instructing and enforcing GLP compliance with established safe work practices and procedures.
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
  • Perform general maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment as required daily or at specified intervals in accordance to established procedures.
  • Conduct sampling and performing the physical and chemical analysis of purified water system and asses in the trend analysis of the results.
  • As requested, assist in the sampling of raw material for laboratory analysis
  • As requested, assist in the acceptance/ rejection process of incoming shipments by creating/ applying the required labels, Navision transaction and certification.
  • Preparation, handling and storage of reagents and solutions.
  • Manage the chemical inventory by identifying, ordering and receiving the required material while maintaining the appropriate documentation.
  • Handling of reference and working standards management process.
  • Participate in the ongoing Quality Control process improvement projects
  • Engage in other assignments as deemed nescessary by the supervisor.
