Job Summary: Senior QA Engineer 6 Month Contract Extendable
We are seeking six experienced Senior QA Engineers with a strong background in automation testing and a passion for quality assurance in cybersecurity-focused environments. The ideal candidates will be well-versed in designing robust test strategies, tracking defects, and working directly with clients to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and PlaywrightDevelop and execute comprehensive test strategies for backend and frontend systemsIdentify, log, and manage defects using standard tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOpsEnsure test coverage for security-critical features and performance bottlenecksParticipate in client-facing activities, including test planning, reporting, and demonstrationsContribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and toolsEnsure test environments are robust, scalable, and support automation reliabilityRequirements:6-8 years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automationHands-on experience with Playwright and Python scriptingStrong understanding of QA methodologies, test strategy creation, and defect lifecycle managementExperience working in or with cybersecurity environments or solutionsComfortable with client-facing engagements and reporting on QA progress/statusFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and agile workflowsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plusBackground in performance or security testing is advantageousISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred
