Main Duties : Brevan is currently looking for a Senior QA/QC Engineer to work in Oman as third party inspector for a very large scale project in the region. The Senior QA/QC Engineer shall be responsible for supporting the existing QA/QC Leads in a range of assurance activities which will be a combination of quality control and quality assurance functions The function will be Muscat based with potential visits to Contractor offices, fabrication facilities and from time to time to the construction site. There will be visits to suppliers and manufacturers within Oman and the region The person will have a broad range of knowledge that covers quality management systems and quality control processes. It is imperative that the candidate has technical knowledge of manufacturing codes and international standards. Experience in Oil and Gas industry is paramount as well as the construction phase of project execution. Experience with BP standards will be a huge benefit Experience of quality specifications of: Civil / Structural, Electrical / Mechanical, Piping / Pipelines, Coatings, Welding and Manufactures is essential.
