Reporting into the QA/QC Lead, we are looking for a Senior QA/QC Engineer with vast procurement experience and EPC background to be based in Dubai.
Some of the role\xe2\x80\x99s main responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing concerned engineering deliverables like material Requisitions, technical evaluation and addressing the project quality requirements in the same.

  • Reviewing the Vendor offers and addressing the Project Quality requirements are the same.

  • Prequalification of the suppliers through supplier evaluation process including audits whenever necessary and communicating the findings to concerned personnel.

  • Tracking the status of the project with respect to the quality aspects (KPIs/ Inspection progress/ KOM QAQC actions/ PIM actions, NCR actions, TQ actions, audit closeout actions etc.).

  • Reviewing and approving all quality related documents like MTC, ITP, PQR, WPS, procedures, data sheets from vendor/ suppliers on timely basis.

  • Carry out inspection and check if required and also coordinate with TPI/ second party inspector for inspection and check for all quality-related procedures in the fabrication shop/ site and ensure activity at the fabrication shop/ site are as per approved drawing and inspection test plan.

  • Coordinate with the consultant\xe2\x80\x99s representative / TPI and vendor representative for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of non-compliance report.

  • Report to the QA/QC lead and QA/QC Manager, control and monitor all activities related to the quality management systems.

  • Liaise the technical engineering\xe2\x80\x99s team for reviewing / approval of vendor submittals.

  • Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/ observations, permanent materials delivered, and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of non-conformance, nonconformance report and site instruction.

  • Co-ordination/ supporting to the site QA/QC team for related activities.

  • Coordinate with site team for procurement quality issues (if any) identified at site.

We are looking for a professional with a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical engineering and relevant certificates: ASNT, RT level II or III, UT, PT & MT, AWS, CWI or CSWIP \xe2\x80\x93 Welding Inspector, and ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor amongst others.
At least 10 years working experience in similar role in EPC companies.
