Senior Qa/qc Engineer
Job Description
Company Overview: We are a leading supplier in the Oil & Gas industry, known for quality, reliability, and performance. To support our continued growth and ADNOC-aligned projects, we are hiring a Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our UAE-based Quality team.
Job Purpose: The Senior QA/QC Engineer will oversee QA/QC activities for incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and ADNOC AGES requirements. This role supports documentation, inspections, and stakeholder coordination to maintain high product and process integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA/QC for piping materials: Line Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, etc.
?Review and approve MTCs for all material batches.
Prepare & submit ITPs, Method Statements, MPS, and QA/QC documents.
?Lead Kick-off & Pre-Inspection Meetings with EPCs & clients.Conduct inspections at facility/site with QC staff and third parties.
?Ensure adherence to ITPs, AGES, and project specs during inspection/testing.
Coordinate with labs to witness/verify tests: mechanical, chemical, HIC, SSC, PMI, NDE.
?Maintain QA/QC records per Project Quality Plan & IMS standards.
Mentor junior QC engineers to build team capability.
?Monitor & report on supplier/subcontractor quality.
Collaborate with procurement/project teams for technical QA of sourced materials.
Willingness to travel internationally for mill inspections and QA/QC tasks.
Ensure clear reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with pressure equipment, WPS/PQR/WPQ, and coating inspections.
?Leadership in inspection planning and team development.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. Min. 5 years QA/QC experience in UAE Oil & Gas sector. 3+ years ADNOC project experience with AGES specifications. Strong knowledge of API, ASTM, ASME, ISO, Shell DEP. Skilled in interpreting P&ID, Isometrics, GA drawings, and MTOs. Valid ASNT Level III (UT, RT, PT, MT, VT).
CSWIP 3.1 preferred.
