We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated

Senior QA/QC Engineer

to play a pivotal role in ensuring the exceptional quality of our landscaping construction projects across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. With your extensive experience, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and overseeing robust quality assurance and control processes from project inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS), QA/QC plans, and detailed inspection & test plans (ITPs) specific to landscaping and civil construction works. Lead and conduct all quality control inspections on-site, covering hardscaping (paving, pergolas, water features), softscaping (planting, irrigation, soil preparation), earthworks, and associated civil infrastructure. Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, client requirements, relevant international standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and local regulations. Proactively identify potential quality risks and issues, implementing preventive measures and providing expert guidance for immediate resolution. Manage the non-conformance reporting (NCR) process, including identification, documentation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification. Prepare, review, and maintain all QA/QC documentation, reports, and records, ensuring traceability and readiness for internal and external audits. Liaise effectively with project managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies on all quality-related matters. Conduct and/or participate in internal and external quality audits to assess compliance and drive continuous improvement. Mentor and train junior QA/QC staff, promoting best practices and a strong quality-conscious culture within the project teams. Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a closely related technical field.

A minimum of 5-10 years of progressive working experience specifically in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) roles within the landscaping construction industry.

Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of landscaping construction methodologies, materials, equipment, and quality standards. Strong understanding of relevant local regulations and international quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015). Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents. Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Highly analytical with exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant project management/QA/QC software. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Lead Auditor ISO 9001, specific inspection certifications) are highly advantageous.

Salary:

Negotiable based on extensive experience and proven qualifications during the interview process.
