framework or similar large-scale oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring the highest quality standards are met in line with ADNOC's stringent requirements, and will have the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the
QA/QC
functions for all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ADNOC's standards, contractual requirements, and industry best practices.
Develop and implement Quality Management Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and other quality control documents as required.
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and assessments of vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Review project specifications and drawings to verify compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Supervise and guide junior QA/QC engineers and personnel in day-to-day activities, providing mentoring and support.
Participate in project meetings and collaborate closely with the project team, including engineers, project managers, and subcontractors, to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor and report on the performance of the QA/QC activities, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of inspections, non-conformances (NCRs), and corrective actions.
Ensure that all quality records are up to date and that documents are properly controlled, tracked, and archived in accordance with company and ADNOC procedures.
Drive continuous improvement by recommending corrective and preventive actions based on project lessons learned and audit results.
Ensure all safety, health, and environmental standards are adhered to during QA/QC processes.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience
in QA/QC, particularly within the
ADNOC
environment or similar large oil & gas projects.
Strong knowledge of
QA/QC procedures, methodologies
, and industry standards.
Hands-on experience with
NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)
,
ISO 9001
, and other relevant quality management systems.
Experience with ADNOC's specific quality control and assurance protocols.
Familiarity with
inspection and testing
of materials, equipment, and installations.
Proficient in using
QA/QC software
and document management systems (e.g., ACONEX, Procore).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
Bachelor's degree
in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and within strict deadlines.
