Role Summary

Lead quality for web, mobile, and ERP. Own test strategy, automation, performance, analytics validation, and CI quality gates for high risk flows such as signup, KYC, bidding, payments, escrow, and refunds. Work onsite with product and engineering to ship fast and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain a risk based test strategy across web, mobile, and ERP Create test plans, traceability matrices, and evolving regression suites; keep a fast smoke pack for every build Automate critical paths with Playwright for web UI and API, and Appium for iOS and Android Design API tests with Postman and Newman; cover auth flows OAuth2 and JWT, idempotency keys, retries, and webhooks Validate EN and AR including RTL layout, Arabic numerals, currency, and date formats Verify analytics and SEO: GA4 and GTM events, deep links, canonical and meta tags, sitemaps, and robots checks Plan and run performance tests with k6 or JMeter for live bidding, websocket events, checkout, and payment APIs Build observability practices with Sentry, Crashlytics, Kibana, and Grafana; convert errors into reproducible bugs with evidence Enforce CI quality gates in GitHub Actions for lint, unit, contract tests with OpenAPI, smoke runs, and artifact checks Drive UAT, pre release smoke on staging and production, and support App Store and Play Console submissions Maintain auction day runbooks, rollback plans, and incident response; participate in on call as needed Mentor QAs on test design patterns, automation architecture, and test data management

Technical Skills

JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation Playwright for web UI and API, Appium for mobile; experience with parallel shards and retries Postman collections, Newman in CI, OpenAPI and Swagger, basic contract testing concepts SQL for PostgreSQL; data setup, validation joins, reconciliation for payments; basic Redis checks Web and mobile debugging: browser devtools, network tab, HAR files, adb and xcrun, device logs Real time testing: websocket event validation, sequence and timing checks Performance testing: k6 or JMeter, p95 and p99 budgets, ramp profiles, SLO aligned thresholds Cross browser and device coverage with BrowserStack or Firebase Test Lab CI and version control: GitHub Actions, branching, required checks, test reports and artifacts Accessibility basics WCAG, keyboard and focus order, color contrast, aria roles Security awareness: OWASP Top 10, secrets hygiene, tokens in logs, PII handling Nice to have: Cypress, Detox, Pact or contract testing tools, Docker basics, familiarity with Kubernetes workflows

Minimum Qualifications

6 to 9 years in QA with at least 3 years owning quality for a consumer product Proven delivery of automation for critical user journeys in web and mobile Strong manual testing and test design: equivalence, boundary, risk based, and exploratory methods Clear, concise bug reporting with steps, expected vs actual, environment, logs, and visuals Experience working onsite with cross functional teams and tight release cycles

Tools You Will Use
