Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive
Senior Purchasing Officer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, withat least 7 years of experience in the construction industry
. You will oversee procurement operations, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure the timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials and services essential to our projects.Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, and terms. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company goals. Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure availability of materials. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and manage performance. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards. Collaborate with internal departments to align purchasing with operational needs. Prepare purchasing reports and present insights to senior management.
