Responsibilities:Manage the procurement of assigned categories, ensuring timely and cost-efficient purchasing.Ensure compliance of contracts are in alignment with all brands being managed.Ensure revised price list for suppliers is received from suppliers before year end and is also updated on SERA.Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up on pending orders to ensure timely receipt of goods.Maintain TAT of 1 day in responding to Request for Quotation (RFQ).Evaluate supplier performance and maintain a preferred supplier list.Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Planning, Warehouse, Logistics) to understand material requirements.Resolve discrepancies with invoices, delivery issues, and quality concerns in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in the ERP system.Suggest improvements to procurement processes, policies, and cost-saving opportunities.Support junior team members and act as a mentor when required.Assist with general procurement activities whenever required.Required SkillsBachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or related technical field (Masters preferred).+5 years of purchasing experience focused on technical products, collaborating with engineering teams, and managing complex orders.In-depth technical knowledge of product specifications and requirements.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Expertise in procurement and supply chain management software.Ability to collaborate with technical teams and optimize purchasing strategies.
