**Senior Public Relations Officer**

Parsons is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Senior Public Relations Officer to join our team!** In this role, you will lead and manage all public relations and communications efforts for high-profile infrastructure projects, ensuring consistent messaging, media engagement, and stakeholder communication. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining a positive image of the project and the organization with external and internal audiences.

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Developing and executing strategic PR plans to support project goals, enhance public awareness, and maintain a strong corporate image.

+ Serving as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, public statements, and external communications.

+ Coordinating with government agencies, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging and regulatory compliance.

+ Drafting press releases, speeches, newsletters, and other communication materials to inform and engage various audiences.

+ Organizing and managing press conferences, media events, project launches, and site visits for VIPs and stakeholders.

+ Monitoring media coverage and public sentiment, and preparing detailed reports for senior management.

+ Handling sensitive public issues and crisis communications with professionalism and discretion.

+ Supporting community engagement activities, including outreach campaigns and public awareness initiatives.

+ Managing social media and digital communication channels in coordination with the corporate communications team.

+ Ensuring branding, signage, and public information materials comply with project and corporate guidelines.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ BacheloraEUR(TM)s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field from an accredited institution.

+ Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in public relations or corporate communications, preferably within the infrastructure or construction sector.

+ Proven experience in developing and delivering PR strategies and media engagement plans.

+ Strong knowledge of local media landscape, public communication regulations, and stakeholder engagement practices.

+ Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

+ Experience working with senior government representatives, clients, and internal leadership.

+ Ability to manage multiple communication channels and deliver consistent messaging.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Prior experience working on major infrastructure, transportation, or urban development projects.

+ Experience working with government or semi-government entities in the Gulf region is highly desirable.

+ Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.

+ Proficiency in media monitoring tools, content creation platforms, and digital communication systems.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

+ Knowledge of crisis communication protocols and public engagement techniques.
