The firm is a majority women-owned business Primary Duties and Responsibilities Day to day client relationship management Nurture relationships with client partner agencies Supervise and mentor the junior staff on the day to day running of the account Develop PA and advocacy plans and presentations in conjunction with more senior staff Participate in client's plan presentations Execute plans and projects on behalf of clients, with assistance of juniors Monitor status and manage project to ensure on-time completion Assist with all projects administrative duties including contract set-up and maintenance, time approval, and issue accurate client reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) with a high degree of accuracy Develop the client regular reports (Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly) with high accuracy in support of the junior team members Work closely with the social media team to provide strategic and relative social media activations and content Control and monitor the quality of work delivered to the client especially the written content in Arabic and English Keep the client updated with the industry related updates and trends that suit the nature of their work Support with government relations and public affairs advisory in the UAE and KSA for tech and sustainability clients Obey to the client work environment and requirement as government entity Adopt high level of confidentiality for all the client work, projects, and future announcements Requirements: Solid understanding of strategic communications, public affairs and campaign planning Robust understanding of regulatory landscape in the region Able to effectively use all available tools and resources to complete client tasks Excellent understanding of traditional and social media channels Able to convincingly and methodically build media and government stakeholder relationships Strong presentation skills Ability to work in a team environment in a resourceful and collaborative manner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills Able to understand market insights and apply effectively Education and Experience 5-6 years related work experience University graduate Business, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Equivalent Knowledge of the UAE landscape Prior client servicing experience Proficient in English, Arabic is a plus AD-Hocks Assignment/reports: As per the Direct Manager's requests Competencies Client relationship skills Customer service skills Leadership skills Decision making skills Analytical skills Work Conditions The physical abilities needed to perform the duties of this position, in addition to the office climate: Office environment is general office setting Some travel may be required Must reside in Dubai or be willing to commute to or relocate Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations About APCO in the Middle East and North Africa Home to some of the fastest growing economies in the world, the Middle East and North Africa region has a pivotal role to play in driving global conversations - from environmental policies to religion and pop culture.
