• Perform public health & Firefighting design feasibility studies, conceptual and final design, and engineering calculations per international codes (IBC, IPC, IFC, BS, NFPA, UPC), and standards UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, client, and best engineering practices.
• Prepare Authority submission documents including calculations.
• Prepare design layouts for all types of plumbing systems includes Sanitary, Vent, Natural Gas, Domestic cold & hot water, Storm and Fire protection wet and dry systems and develop riser/single line diagrams for these systems.
• Review of 2D and 3D modelling of HVAC, Public Health & Fire Fighting System done by the drafting team.
• Prepare water demand, discharge, and gas demand calculations as per Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), Sharjah Municipality (SM), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Dubai Municipality (DM) standards.
• Prepare pump head and hydraulic calculations.
• Coordinate mechanical drawings with the electrical, architectural and civil trades.
• Meet with clients regarding projects, progress reporting, and the resolution of issues.
• Clash detection and coordination with other disciplines to deliver a clash free BIM model.
• Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns to Discipline Lead/Project Manager/Project Lead.

• Minimum of 10-12 years experience in a similar capacity, preference to UAE and or GCC experience
• Experience in design and implementation of Public Health Engineering and Fire Fighting system

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related course or equivalent
