Prepare mechanical design/design review to local and international standards for large-scale projects such as high-rise residential & commercial buildings, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and others.
Lead the design-related activities for Plumbing Water, Plumbing Drainage, LPG & Fire Fighting systems.
Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
Coordinate, Lead and direct a team of design engineers, draftsmen, and support personnel.
Carry out independent design checks of other Engineers design and design reviews.
Complete engineering work within the agreed program by adhering to QA procedures.
Work within company policy, Environmental protection, Health & Safety rules.
Provide Value Engineering oriented technical resolutions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Assist in the recruitment and selection of new employees.
Assisting Lead Mechanical Engineer in research, planning, design, and development of building engineering systems related to Mechanical Engineering.
Work with the Mechanical Engineers to obtain project-related approvals from the relevant local authorities.
Be hands-on and have expert working knowledge in BIM (REVIT), CAD, Navisworks, Elite, etc.
Communicate effectively at all levels to support collaborative work practices and achievement of team goals.
Maintain Client focus in the delivery of services of the team.

Demonstrated proficiency in specification writing in CSI Master Format.
Must have strong design-related technical experience with Plumbing Water, Plumbing Drainage, LPG & Fire Fighting systems as a minimum prerequisite
Knowledge of the latest UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, and International Codes & Standards (IOP, IGEM, ASPE, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA codes, IBC, FM, and UL)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
10-15 years of broad, international experience in the design of building services for commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and industrial projects and mixed-use developments.
Member of a professional institution. Preferably a Chartered Engineer.
