The Sr. Proposals Specialist is responsible for supporting proposal and contract development; and promoting CB&I Storage Solutions\xe2\x80\x99 products and services. This position is a senior professional, individual contributor contract development role requiring fundamental knowledge of CB&I Storage Solutions markets, products, clients, and customers. The role directly reports to the regional business development lead and routinely interacts with the regional operation leads.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Senior individual contributor responsible for new business proposals and contracts for a sub-region or a single country

\xc2\xb7 Identifies and mitigates the risk involved with commercial terms and conditions, contract structure and pricing, interfacing with the Legal and Finance Departments, as appropriate

\xc2\xb7 Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and keep all information accurate and current

\xc2\xb7 Outline, write, edit and organize proposal documents, while also making timely edits and revisions to documents after reviews

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with Legal and other corporate teams to provide and ensure comprehensive input

\xc2\xb7 Work with the project bid team to ensure that the company liabilities and legal obligations are contractually defined

\xc2\xb7 Review invitation to bid documents in conjunction with other applicable corporate departments

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that submitted proposals fully address all Commercial, Legal and Taxation matters

\xc2\xb7 Ensure there is a clearly defined Commercial execution strategy for all proposals submitted

\xc2\xb7 Review scope of \xe2\x80\x9cinvitation to bid documents\xe2\x80\x9d for proposals and recommend to the Business Development Specialist/Manager the optimum split of work into packages, considering the geographical location, capability, and track record of local contractors, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Identify in conjunction with Legal, the obligations in the contract that are either obligatory flow downs or those which may be required to flow down and advise Subcontract Manager

\xc2\xb7 Review commercial issues related to working in new territories and locations or with new clients; and provide advice and support to the team

\xc2\xb7 Ensure all projects have in place at award, a commercial baseline and contract summary documentation

\xc2\xb7 Provide input to the project control and accounting procedures, processes and systems

\xc2\xb7 Ensure Risk Management, Project Controls and value improvement processes are fully and uniformly deployed and managed in accordance with procedure throughout the duration of the contract.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure the best commercial interests of the company are maintained, through policing of the contract

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring all deviations from standard Terms & Conditions are properly evaluated, mitigated and approved by the responsible functions

Prepares regional frame agreements

Essential Qualifications and Education:

\xc2\xb7 Senior Level Proposals Position works independently with little supervision

\xc2\xb7 10+ Years of commercial contracting/legal (3+ Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in EPC Operations preferred)

\xc2\xb7 Typically, 8+ years since first degree

\xc2\xb7 Professional degree (Engineering or BS Preferred)

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of CB&I Storage Engineering, Fabrication, and Construction method

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with CB&I Storage Solutions\xe2\x80\x99 products, markets and/or a key market sector

Fundamental understanding of Commercial Contracting and Negotiations
