Job Description

A compelling opportunity has arisen for a highly accomplished Projects Lawyer to join the Middle East Finance & Projects practice of this leading international law firm in Dubai. Acting at the forefront of the energy and infrastructure sectors, the team advises sovereigns, financial institutions, sponsors, developers, and corporates on complex and often market-shaping projects across the Middle East, with particular emphasis on Saudi Arabia, as well as Asia and Africa.
The successful candidate will assume a central role leading sophisticated project development, project finance, PPP and sector-focused M&A transactions. Working alongside prominent senior partners, they will engage directly with clients, manage complex mandates, and play a key role in developing junior colleagues. The role combines technical excellence with substantial client interaction, strategic input, and business development responsibility, offering an outstanding platform for long-term career progression within a highly regarded global practice.
Key Requirements:

• Ideally 5+ years' post-qualification experience gained within a leading international or major regional firm, with significant exposure to high-value energy, infrastructure, and projects work.
• Demonstrable experience managing major transactions, with an ability to operate autonomously while leading client relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen, technical expertise, and the interpersonal skills required for effective cross-border practice.
• A collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset, with proven capability to contribute to practice growth, business development and wider thought leadership initiatives.
