Our client, headquartered in the USA, specialises into the utilities industry and has its regional HQ in Abu Dhabi, counting around 10 employees locally.
We are currently hiring a Project Finance / Project Accounting expert to join as a Senior Project Finance Manager for Global Projects.
As the Global Project Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all the financial aspects of the projects P&L, having a global perspective and ability to navigate through diverse business environments.

- Lead the quarterly financial closing for the Projects business, overseeing revenue recognition, forecasting, and Financial Leadership and Oversight
- Take ownership of the Project\'s P&L and Balance Sheet, directing project-level accounting and reporting, tracking Risks & Opportunities, Backlog, and providing regular reports to the Global Projects Executive Leadership and Corporate teams
- Lead and inspire a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Collaborate with Global Commercial Ops and Finance teams to review contracts, understand key deliverables, terms, cash milestones, and payment terms
- Ensure project reviews accurately reflect project financial status, cash flow, and drive results to meet or exceed the As-sold project financials.
- Partner with the Global Projects team to analyse execution performance.
- Actively engage with Corporate FP&A teams to ensure accurate reflection of forecast and variances in financial reviews
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Finance / Project Accounting
- A qualified finance professional
- A previous experience within Oil & Gas, EPC or energy/utilities is a must
- Expertise in SAP ERP is must (use of Project System - PS - module is a strong asset)
- Demonstrated leadership experience at a Global or Regional level
- A US GAAP exposure is mandatory (ASC 606 being highly desirable)
