Oversee and manage project accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and variance reports, providing insightful commentary on financial performance. Review and approve project-related invoices and expenses, ensuring adherence to project contracts and company policies. Manage project cost control, identifying and mitigating potential financial risks and opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and project profitability. Ensure accurate and timely project revenue recognition, in accordance with accounting principles. Lead and participate in project audits, providing necessary documentation and support. Develop and maintain project accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity. Continuously improve project accounting processes, identifying and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. Demonstrates a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in project accounting or a similar role within a fast-paced environment. Exhibits strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and project accounting methodologies. Experience with project accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is highly desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. Displays excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with various stakeholders. Exhibits a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Experience in the construction, engineering, or technology industries is a plus.
