The Sr. Project Manager is an individual contributor senior professional responsible for accurate reporting of financial information and timely invoicing pertaining to project(s). The role directly reports to Regional Finance or Accounting Management.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Responsible for Project Accounting and Reporting Activities Coordinate with the peers and Project Teams to ensure Project Accounting runs smoothly and efficiently Revenue Recognition in line with the company's policy Project invoice approval and cost accruals Cost Reviews / Project Budget review Closing contract costs on monthly basis Preparation of Project working capital and Cash-flows Review project forecasts on a regular basis and ensure any outstanding matters are promptly resolved Forecasting of Revenue and GP and reporting on variances, if required MIS Reporting relating to Project Revenue and Cost Maintenance of project-related ledger accounts Disseminate month-end project reports to management and relevant business lines Maintain list of month-end deadlines Maintain project register Prepare month-end posting/ allocations and accruals Control project accounts payable and receivable tasks Essential Qualifications and Education: Typically 10+ years since first degree and 5-10+ years in an Accounting role Bachelor's (4 year) degree in accounting or equivalent Knowledge on taxation is preferred ERP accounting software experience (MS office, JD Edwards/SAP or Oracle Cloud experience a plus) Familiar with consolidation software a plus (Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Financial Planning) Collection and invoicing experience Experience in the Energy & Construction Industry a plus Company Overview and Core Values: McDermott is a premier, fully integrated provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry.
