Senior Product & Sales Executive – Melamine & High Gloss Mdf

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



1. Sales Growth & Revenue Generation



Drive sales of Melamine and High Gloss MDF across all retail branches and B2B/outdoor clients. Support showroom teams with product knowledge, pricing, and sales techniques to achieve monthly targets. Develop new client relationships with carpenters, designers, and contractors to expand category reach. Monitor branch-wise and category-wise performance and propose corrective actions.

2. Product Strategy & Market Development



Identify fast-moving designs, trends, and competitor activities to plan new collections and promotional campaigns. Recommend pricing strategies and margin optimization plans in coordination with management. Plan and execute in-store and digital promotions to enhance category visibility. Suggest new product developments or variants based on customer demand and feedback.

3. Inventory Management & Forecasting



Maintain optimal inventory levels of Melamine and High Gloss MDF at all showrooms and warehouses. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of stock based on sales trends. Minimize slow-moving or dead stock through promotions or strategic clearance plans.

4. Training & Coordination



Train showroom sales staff on product specifications, features, and selling points. Work closely with branch managers, category managers, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing initiatives.

5. Reporting & Analysis



Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports (sales, margin, and stock status). Analyze product performance by design, color, and finish to guide decision-making.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



Achievement of monthly sales and margin targets for Melamine & High Gloss MDF. Improvement in category contribution to total showroom revenue. Inventory turnover ratio and stock availability levels. Growth in new client acquisitions (B2B and retail). Execution of promotional campaigns and showroom activations.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in sales/product management within

building materials, decor, or MDF industry

. Strong understanding of MDF, decorative panels, and market trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel/ERP systems for reporting and inventory tracking.
