The Senior product manager of LCL is responsible for leading and expanding the Less-than-Container Load (LCL) business across the MEA region. This role includes strategic development, operational excellence, commercial growth, and cross-functional leadership to drive profitability and market share. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of international ocean freight, a strong commercial mindset, and proven leadership in managing LCL products at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
Develop and execute the regional LCL strategy in alignment with global objectives.
Identify market opportunities, trends, and emerging customer needs to expand the regional LCL footprint.
Set pricing strategies, service offerings, and growth targets in collaboration with the global LCL team and local country managers.
Business Development & Sales Enablement
Partner with sales and key account managers to promote LCL solutions to existing and prospective customers.
Support RFQs, pricing strategies, and solution design for large LCL opportunities.
Provide training and tools to enhance LCL sales capabilities across the region.
Network Development & Performance Management
Design and implement LCL routing and hub strategies to support business scalability and service coverage.
Develop new trade lanes and services to enhance the LCL network and to meet local market needs.
Analyze business performance and financial KPIs, taking corrective action as needed to meet targets.
Operational Management
Oversee the implementation of a standardized Hub/Gateway concept, drive continuous optimization of cost and service levels across the region.
Oversee day-to-day LCL operations at the regional Hub, including import/export processing, consolidation/de-consolidation and cargo handling
Work closely with FCL/Trade Managers and coload partners to ensure reliable space and capacity management.
Educational Qualifications & Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Ocean Freight, with a strong background in LCL.
Proven experience in leading regional teams and working within a global framework.
Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the MEA logistics market.
Experience in procurement and contract negotiation with co-loaders, and CFS providers.
