Overview DTOne is a global B2B digital transfer network for mobile top-up solutions, innovative mobile rewards, and Phone-to-Phone solutions. Our global network delivers infrastructure and access to digital communications for over five billion across emerging economies, enabling them to stay better connected and as a result participate more actively in the global economy. For that we need to launch innovative products that serve our customers and drive business growth. You will be a key driver of this growth. You will work with skilled engineers and a strong cross-functional team. You'll meet and interact with numerous nationalities and you will be a decisive contributor from the start. You will get a position in a unique, young and fast-growing FinTech company. The role is based in Dubai, will have a global impact and work closely with stakeholders across our global offices. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Senior Product Manager is a key representative of our customers' needs. By leveraging technology, your goal is to serve customers better and bring value to the business. You play a vital role in steering DTOne's products, and in maximizing the value of our services to our customers and internal stakeholders. DTOne's products are offered via API and other alternative channels such as web based applications, USSD, SMS etc collectively known as applications. You will be responsible for the 'Applications', i.e. all alternatives channels and resulting changes to our core API product. You need to have a passion for FinTech and an appreciation for what makes a good API. You will be responsible for the success of your products and you will need to build the product vision, product roadmap and drive its implementation. Your main internal stakeholders will be the technical team, as well as business development, compliance, legal and finance. You will need to be the champion of your product internally and externally. Key Responsibilities
  • Own the global product vision and roadmap for channels & applications
  • Drive cross-functional team towards implementing the product vision, be a subject matter expert for the organization, providing insights, context and additional information as needed
  • Collaborates with multiple stakeholders (including customers) to translate their requirements into detailed user stories
  • Craft clear requirements and communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Builds, maintains, and prioritizes the team backlog to produce the greatest organizational value in a release
  • Be available to the development team continuously and be a subject matter expert on customer needs, feature intent, and product domain
  • Maximize the business results and customer value resulting from the development and deployment of specific products by making trade-off decisions as needed which requires extensive experience and knowledge
  • Build,maintain, and prioritize the team backlog to produce the greatest organizational value
  • Participates in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as pre and iteration planning, daily stand ups, showcases and retrospectives
  • Supports sales and marketing events with demonstrations of new products and features
  • Support sales in RFP and customer calls
  • Commercialize products via product marketing, collateral development and providing necessary support to marketing and sales teams
What we are looking for
  • Strong academic background in technical engineering, business field or comparable experience
  • Result-oriented with at least 5 years of experience and a proven track record in product management ideally in Fintech building products from ground up
  • Strong analytical skills, creative, detail oriented, and solid problem-solving skills with a passion for new technologies
  • Strategic thinker who appreciates the business impact and commercial challenges, and has the ability to see through problems to get solutions done
  • Project management experience and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Experience with customer advocacy, self-directed improvement efforts, is preferred
  • Experience in a start-up, small or high-growth company environment is preferred
  • Experience in working with global B2B SaaS platform is preferred
  • Familiar with Agile/Lean product development practices, have experience in working with teams using Scrum or Kanban
  • Ability to develop and articulate well thought out business case and its financial / bottom line impact
  • Familiar with APIs as producer and consumer, knows what makes an API better
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills are critical to craft clear requirements and expertly communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
