Senior Power Bi Developer
Job Description
Lead the design and development of complex Power BI dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand reporting needs.
Design and implement efficient data models to support reporting needs.
Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cloud platforms, and APIs, into Power BI.
Develop and optimize complex DAX formulas and Power Query transformations.
Deliver advanced, interactive, and visually appealing dashboards.
Ensure visualizations align with business requirements and support key performance indicators (KPIs).
Maintain consistency in design and adhere to data visualization best practices.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports/dashboards.
Optimize data models and query performance to handle large datasets.
Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) and other data access controls.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational policies.
Develop and maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and processes.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI solutions.
Requirements:
Expertise in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing data. Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing principles. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., SAP BO) is a plus. 5+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI. * Proven track record of delivering complex Power BI solutions in a professional setting.
