We are looking for an experienced* Senior Port Operations Supervisor* to be based in our offices in Fujairah, UAE. Who are we looking for? We are looking for a shipping professional with extensive knowledge in efficiently managing shipping operations on the UAE East Coast (Fujairah, Khorfakkan, Kalba and Dibba). Job Responsibilities:

• Handling communication/coordination and day to day Owner's Requirements (Bunkering, Deslopping, Freshwater Supply, Crew Change, Storing, Spares Delivery, CTM Delivery, Repairs, Offshore Inspections/Visits, etc.).
• Coordinates for vessels berthing for Cargo Operations in Fujairah Oil Terminals (FOTT - Fujairah Oil Tanker Terminal, VHFL - VOPAK Horizon Fujairah Ltd, and ADCO SPM Terminals), STS Operations, and US Navy Cargo/Bulk Cargo at Fujairah Main Berth.
• Communicates with Terminal Planners, Vessel Masters, Charterers/Principals for Vessel Movements, Berthing Prospects, Port and Terminal Information, Restrictions, etc.
• Process or Facilitate necessary Clearances, Port Requests/Agent Guarantees, Special Permissions, Navigation Licenses, BL Documentations, etc.
• Pro-actively engaging to new client inquiries and/or cascading to Senior Management/Regional Office to capture/harness the business
• Close coordination with all Shipping Executives - Operations and concerned parties.
• Monitor suppliers to ensure Kanoo Shipping requirements are strictly complied.
• Maintain good relationship with Port Officials in the UAE East Coast to promote the best interest of the Kanoo Shipping.
• Prepare and submit reports to Senior Management/Regional Office in the required form and frequency
• Actively promotes Kanoo Shipping services to build its business and present the desired image for Kanoo Shipping.
• Ensure all required arrival and departure information are obtained from the vessel and relayed to KPI Coordinator / all concerned parties as per procedure.
• Close coordination with concerned authorities / parties for provision of berth, equipment, manpower and reports / documentation requirements of the vessel calling in port on the UAE East Coast
• Provide required updates to customers for equipment/other required arrangements.
• Coordination and clarifying with concerned parties / principals / vessel command for any issues or discrepancy.
• Ensure principal's Key Performance Indicator targets for cargo loading and discharging are achieved.
• Execute instructions from Tanker & Operations Manager to maximize profits and optimize resource utilization in Fujairah offshore operations.
• Implement guidance and carry out corrective actions to the team.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5years of experience in the shipping field - particularly Fujairah port knowledge.
• Excellent in speaking and writing in English language.
• Effective negotiation and team management skills.
• Must be able to lead and guide the team.
• Good skills in the complete MS Office packages.
• You must be proactive, persuasive and analytical.
