The unit has responsibilities from initial business case to roadmap delivery, launch, and ongoing support operations. All of BCG's core product and AI capabilities are housed within the business unit including data engineers, data scientists and business consultants who specialize in the use of advanced analytics to get high-impact business results, as well as product management, design, development, support and data analytics experts who work in deep collaboration with BCG practice areas, clients and consulting teams. The Platform Specialist will work in collaboration with Information Security & Risk Management, Analytics, Consulting, Identity, and IT teams to implement and support technical solutions with focus on Gamma's product and cloud infrastructure security program needs.

JOB TITLE Senior Platform Specialist, Security - BCG GAMMA

YOU'RE GOOD AT Working with product, engineering, and cloud infrastructure management teams to implement and manage security in Gamma's environment. The Security Platform Specialist will: Work collaboratively with engineering, product, and cloud infrastructure teams to understand requirements and implement security best practices, process improvements, and improve overall security effectiveness. Continue the maturation security of cloud infrastructure and operations. Monitor security advisories that impact security, risk, and compliance requirements. Aid security management analysts and product teams in investigating, analyzing and remediating vulnerabilities Review vulnerability assessment results, prioritize, and assist in remediation efforts. Support the implementation and management of operational security controls. Identify and incorporate security capability requirements into security strategy. Support security incident response process, work with subject matter experts, recommend corrective actions, and respond to investigations requiring technical security analysis. Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field

Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, and CSA CCM

Experience with Cloud-based Services and Support (AWS or Azure or GCP)

Managing identity access, threat, and vulnerability detection.

Experience with security analytics and analysis, logging, and reporting.

Experience supporting server platforms including Windows & Linux

3-5+ years in information security, compliance, audit and risk management.

5+ years in cloud information technology environments including SaaS.

End-to-end security including web, application, network, and database.

Familiarity with audit, risk mitigation, and IT controls such as separation of duties.

Experience with containerization and IAM preferred

Security certification such as CISM or CISSP and/or Cloud Certification preferred
