Senior Planning Engineer Job Location : United Arab Emirates Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including work breakdown structures, critical path analysis, and resource allocation for building projects.
Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Progress Monitoring: Track and report project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
Cost Control: Support budgeting and cost management, ensuring project expenditures remain within the approved limits.
Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to prevent schedule or budget impacts.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
Communication: Conduct regular project meetings and keep stakeholders informed on project status, challenges, and updates.
Requirements:
Minimum 13+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer in building projects.
Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, and control.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, particularly Fujairah/Abu Dhabi standards, is an advantage.
