Job Summary:



We are looking for an experienced

Senior Planning Engineer

to lead project scheduling, planning, and progress monitoring for large-scale projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have

8+ years of experience

in

construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas

industries, ensuring project timelines and cost controls are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, manage, and update

detailed project schedules

using

Primavera P6

and

MS Project

. Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement

corrective action plans

. Conduct

time impact analysis (TIA)

and support

Extension of Time (EOT) claims

. Collaborate with

project managers, contractors, and consultants

to align schedules with project objectives. Lead the

preparation of baseline schedules, progress reports, and dashboards

for management. Analyze project risks and

develop mitigation strategies

to avoid schedule deviations. Optimize resource allocation and track productivity to ensure

efficient project execution

. Review, validate, and provide recommendations on

subcontractor schedules and reports

. Participate in

progress review meetings

and provide scheduling insights for decision-making. Ensure compliance with

contractual requirements, industry standards, and Qatari regulations

.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree

in

Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

.

8+ years of experience

in project planning and scheduling, with a strong background in

construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas

.

Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

. Strong

analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

. Experience with

EOT claims, delay analysis, and cost control

.

Familiarity with Qatari construction laws and regulations

is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Certifications:



PMP (Project Management Professional)

PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional)
