Senior Planning Engineer
Job Summary:
The Senior Planning Engineer develops, monitors, and updates the project master schedule. They analyze progress, identify schedule impacts, and provide critical data to support decision-making to keep the project on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the project's integrated master schedule using Primavera P6.
- Establish the project baseline schedule and obtain approval.
- Monitor and update progress, incorporating actuals and forecasting remaining durations.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify potential schedule delays.
- Develop "what-if" scenarios and recovery plans.
- Prepare and present detailed schedule reports and S-curves to project management.
- Coordinate with all departments to gather progress data and validate forecasts.
- Support the change management process by analyzing the impact of variations on the schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- 8+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in EPC projects.
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) and earned value management.
