Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior P6 Planner to join our project controls team. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of hands-on experience in planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 , particularly on large-scale infrastructure or engineering projects. You will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, and collaborating with various departments for seamless project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 for all project phases.



Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.



Integrate project plans and schedules across multiple disciplines (engineering, procurement, construction, etc.).



Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and prepare variance reports.



Work closely with project managers, engineers, and cost controllers to ensure alignment of schedule and budget.



Prepare look-ahead schedules, resource histograms, and S-curves.



Support delay analysis, extension of time (EOT) claims, and forensic schedule analysis as required.



Participate in progress review meetings with stakeholders and clients.



Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with project and company standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.



Minimum 6+ years of planning experience in infrastructure, civil, or industrial projects.



Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (including WBS, activity codes, resource loading, baselines, and reporting).



Strong understanding of project management principles, including earned value management (EVM).



Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in complex projects.



Familiarity with delay analysis techniques and claim preparation is preferred.



Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or EPC projects.



Familiarity with tools such as Power BI.



Certification in Primavera (Oracle Certified) or PMP is a plus.
