We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior Piping Engineer

to join our Oil & Gas project team in Qatar. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for all piping discipline activities and deliverables, functioning as a senior point of contact across multiple projects. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven experience in offshore and brownfield engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the senior point of contact for all piping discipline activities across assigned projects. Independently guide and supervise piping engineers and designers in the execution of project deliverables. Prepare engineered calculations, isometrics, piping arrangement drawings, support drawings, and related piping documents within a 2D/3D model environment. Review, check, and ensure technical accuracy of design deliverables including calculations, drawings, specifications, schedules, and MTOs. Perform stress analysis using

CAESAR II software

with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. Ensure compliance with project objectives, industry best practices, and applicable codes and standards, including QatarEnergy and Shell DEP requirements. Prepare, review, and approve procurement-related documents such as material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor recommendations, and drawing reviews. Provide technical support during site construction and commissioning phases (experience in this area is an advantage).

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

from an accredited university.

10-15 years of relevant experience

in FEED and detailed engineering for oil & gas or similar facilities, including offshore. Minimum

5 years of experience

in detailed design engineering of brownfield offshore modifications. Minimum

5 years of stress analysis experience

using

CAESAR II

. Minimum

5 years of experience as a Senior Discipline Engineer

. Thorough knowledge of industry practices, tools, and international codes and standards (QatarEnergy/Shell DEP). Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment. Site construction and commissioning experience is an added advantage.
