We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Piping Designer

to join our Oil & Gas project team in Qatar. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of designers, define and assign work scopes, and ensure high-quality deliverables in compliance with international and client-specific standards. This role requires strong expertise in 2D/3D design software, offshore brownfield experience, and proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of professional piping designers, assigning and supervising work scopes within a broad responsibility area. Develop detailed design and construction drawings including Plot Plans, Piping GADs, Key Plans, Isometrics, Demolition drawings, etc. Prepare procurement and construction MTOs from approved drawings and documents. Review and ensure the quality and technical accuracy of all deliverables in line with project objectives. Provide design support for non-critical piping supports. Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy, Shell DEP, and relevant international codes and standards. Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines and quality requirements. Provide technical support during site-based construction and commissioning activities (if required).
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

from an accredited university.

10-15 years of relevant experience

in FEED and detailed engineering of oil & gas facilities (greenfield & brownfield), including offshore. At least

5 years of detailed design engineering experience

in offshore brownfield modifications. Minimum

5 years of hands-on experience in E3D modeling

and at least

10 years of experience using AutoCAD

. Strong knowledge of industry practices, tools, and international standards (QatarEnergy / Shell DEP). Proven leadership and ability to supervise and guide design teams. Site-based construction and commissioning experience will be considered an advantage.
