Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer (E3D) with extensive experience in the FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases of onshore oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and efficient piping designs while ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and review piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings using AVEVA E3D.
• Develop piping designs across FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases, ensuring seamless project transitions.
• Ensure designs meet international codes, project specifications, and HSE standards.
• Coordinate effectively with process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers; resolve complex piping and layout issues.
• Participate in multidisciplinary reviews (3D model reviews, HAZOP, constructability, and design reviews).
• Support preparation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and other engineering deliverables required during FEED and Detailed Design.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to clarify technical queries and align design deliverables.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• 8+ years of piping design experience in the Engineering phase of onshore oil and gas projects.
• Strong expertise in AVEVA E3D (mandatory).
• Proven experience working on FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design projects.
• Sound knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).
• Excellent cross-discipline coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet tight schedules and deliverables with high accuracy.
