Senior Payables Accountant
Job Description
We're Hiring: Senior Payables Accountant - Ras Al Khaimah
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payables Accountant to join our finance team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of banks, accounts payable, supplier reconciliations, and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies & IFRS.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounts payable /Banks operations and invoice processing
Prepare and verify supplier payments, reconciliations, and reports
Monitor and manage vendor accounts, aging, and timely settlements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers for smooth workflow
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payable processes
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (ERP systems preferred)
Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
