Senior Organizational Effectiveness Specialist

Job Description

Design and lead the implementation of organizational effectiveness initiatives in support of Nawah’s ongoing journey towards organizational excellence and nuclear safety, as overriding priority. Organizational Effectiveness Program
  • Design and lead the implementation of the Organizational Effectiveness program to enhance cross functional organizational alignment and the effectiveness of Nawah’s leadership teams.
  • Support to the Nawah Leadership Team (NLT), to develop a cohesive and aligned team, which engages the workforce in pursuit of operational excellence.
  • Coach the NLT and select plant leaders on Leadership Fundamentals, to improve operational performance and organizational effectiveness.
  • Design, develop, implement, and review the effectiveness of interventions to support leaders in enhancing their teams’ and organizational effectiveness.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate organizational effectiveness events and programs to ensure alignment across all organizational entities.
  • Provide support to CNO Majlis, and other interventions, to enhance employee engagement with senior leaders.
  • Assist in embedding the “AT SITE” Values in the organization to build and enhance a strong culture across the enterprise.
  • Endorse and assist in the assessments against the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) Performance Objectives and Criteria (PO&Cs) that relate to OR to ensure the highest operational standards and support the WANO Pre-Start Up Review (PSUR). Lead the implementation of recommendations from external review bodies
  • Conduct and review assessments of the ‘Leadership Attributes’ from the INPO 15-005 ‘Leadership and Team Effectiveness Attributes’ and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct and review assessments of INPO 19-003 ‘Staying on Top’ and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on Organizational Effectiveness issues to continuously improve the program.

  • Follow all relevant company’s Health and Safety policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance in all aspects of work as per sound management practices. Apply these policies and procedures to self and others to ensure reasonable care of the health and safety of the employee; the environment; and various individuals who may be affected by the employee’s acts or omissions at work.
  • Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and corporate assets.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity to continue mission critical activities.
People Management
  • Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
  • Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance.
Excellence and Quality Management
  • Ensure commitment to a culture of continuous improvement by eliminating waste, following operations procedures, practicing innovation, problem solving, and teamwork; complying with Quality Management System policies and procedures; providing and receiving constructive feedback, and striving to meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

Skills

Minimum
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership Effectiveness, Leadership Coaching, Human Factors, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Psychology, Management, or similar, with 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred
  • 7 years in leadership effectiveness/coaching in safety critical industries and implementing behavioral change interventions across an organization.
  • 2 years’ experience working in a leadership position in the Nuclear Industry in the field of organizational behavior, i.e., Leadership Effectiveness, Performance Improvement, Human Factors, Organizational Effectiveness, Safety Culture, Human Performance or similar.
  • Background in implementation of leadership effectiveness and performance improvement.
