Redstone Commodity Search are working with a growing commodity trading house looking to hire a Senior Oil Trader to join the team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Responsible for/In charge of the physical trading of oil into global markets. Covering aspects of back-office tasks, assisting team members where necessary. Identifying ways to grow the book using creativity, perseverance and developing new relationships with counterparts that fit within the strategy of the business. Maintain a strong understanding of customers' needs, customer/supplier performance and competitor activity. Reports into MD.

Key Qualifications / Experience

Minimum 5+ years of physical trading of oil products - fuel oil / gas oil preferable, currently, or previously working in a multinational company. Portfolio of active transferable relationships in the oil industry is a necessity. Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Familiar with back-office trading tasks, contracts, documentation, LC's and so on. Role to be based in Dubai.
