Redstone Commodity Search are working with a growing commodity trading house looking to hire a Senior Oil Trader to join the team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks * Responsible for/In charge of the physical trading of oil into global markets. * Covering aspects of back-office tasks, assisting team members where necessary. * Identifying ways to grow the book using creativity, perseverance and developing new relationships with counterparts that fit within the strategy of the business. * Maintain a strong understanding of customers' needs, customer/supplier performance and competitor activity. * Reports into MD.

Key Qualifications / Experience * Minimum 5+ years of physical trading of oil products - fuel oil / gas oil preferable, currently, or previously working in a multinational company. * Portfolio of active transferable relationships in the oil industry is a necessity. * Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. * Familiar with back-office trading tasks, contracts, documentation, LC's and so on. * Role to be based in Dubai.
