Job Purpose:
Provide various types of contracts services for the respective functions to meet the Company's business requirements.
Key Accountabilities

  • Participate in the development of contracts, consultancy provision, change orders, and claims initiation in line with the Company's objectives.
  • Prepare the annual acquisition plan which covers the user's requirements for contracts related to all types of works, consultancy, manpower, and services. Maintain and update the plan implementation status.
  • Review the user scope of work for jobs of special nature, develop the list of prequalified contractors, initiate the tendering process by issuing the tender invitation, attend tender clarifications, coordinate with the users the technical evaluation, conduct commercial analysis, and develop the final contracts.
  • Analyze the contracts variations and ensure the issuance of change orders in accordance with the revised and approved scope.
  • Prepare the Contract and the associated documents, as per the agreement framework, for further reviews and endorsement.
  • Review and analyse the validity of contractual claims and recommend appropriate actions as and when required.
  • Follow-up the proper close-out of completed contracts with respect to the issuance of completion certificates, release letters, return of performance bank guarantees, etc.
  • Assist in preparing the standard tender documents including standard forms of contracts for all types of works, services, consultancy, and manpower as per the Legal, Audit, and Financial obligations.
  • Participate in preparing and updating the Team's procedures and the tender board terms of reference.
  • Prepare periodical progress reports to facilitate decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or an equivalent Professional Qualification.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  • 6 years of experience in the preparation of tenders and contracts within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Technical understanding of building, reviewing, and finalising various contracts and tendering processes.
  • Sound understanding of commercial management principles with technical knowledge and diversified capabilities in contracts and risks' management, cost effectiveness, and legal and economic aspects.
  • Good understanding of regulation and control and other relevant legal guidelines.
  • Good contract negotiation and preparation skills.
  • Good knowledge and experience in conflict avoidance and contracts' dispute resolution.
  • Global perspective of Oil and Gas business environment and technology.
  • Planning, organising, scheduling, co-ordinating, checking, examining, and recording.
