Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To support the effective operation of airports within a specific geographic region, ensuring agreed SLAs are being adhered to and providing Management with reporting and analysis of the relevant airports\xe2\x80\x99 operations. This role necessitates interaction with outstation teams at all levels and plays a vital coordination role between outstations, the hub, and campus teams to guarantee optimal support for network operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Activities
  • Assists the outstation teams as needed to ensure their compliance with all operational, quality, and safety requirements, in accordance with flydubai policies, GCAA CAR OPS regulations, and local CAA regulations.
  • Provides input to Management on how to address weaknesses and failures at both station and regional levels and follows up with the operations on ground to ensure their implementation.
  • Coordinates and supports station personnel in preparing for both internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of any non-conformities by following up on action plans within prescribed timeframes.
  • Documents all station-level inspections, including, but not limited to, those pertaining to quality, safety, customer experience, as well as operational and commercial aspects.
  • Reviews, monitors, and tracks service level agreements with relevant stakeholders, and actively engages with stations to implement corrective, preventive, and proactive measures.
  • Conducts periodical inspections of station administrative and operational procedures and communicate any concerns and recommendations to the Management.
  • Monitors the periodic KPI status reports for each station in the region and submit them to as required highlighting any key findings.
  • Imposes penalties on Airports related to service failures in accordance with approved policy and with the explicit approval of Management.
  • Monitors \xe2\x80\x98On time performance\xe2\x80\x99 - OTP and all KPI elements manually or through designated systems versus published dashboards.
  • Conducts site visits to outstations as necessary and collaborate with the Learning and Development team to ensure that training is effectively delivered to outstation teams as needed.
  • Collaborates closely with various departments to elevate the customer experience at outstations. Analyse customer complaints and liaise with the relevant Airport Manager to implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Introduces additional or modifying operational procedures and processes as needed to adapt to changes in products or policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
Education Specific Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in airline airport operations covering both over-wing and under-wing activity, with leadership experience in at least one discipline.
  • Good understanding to IATA GOM and IATA standard agreements, the understanding of quality and safety audits related to airport services operations is required.

  • Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree - if applicable) - 8
Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements
  • Weight & Balance certificate
  • Departure system knowledge
  • Presentation and analysis skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of SLAs and SGHAs
  • Communicate fluently in spoken and written English, Russian preferable.
