experienced Senior Odoo Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Senior Odoo Developer who will be responsible for end-to-end development, optimization, and support of our Odoo ERP infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a track record of building robust, business-critical Odoo applications.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Development & Customization

Design and develop custom Odoo modules tailored to operational and business needs. Implement advanced configuration and automation across modules such as Sales, HR, Fleet, Accounting, and CRM.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Collaborate with department heads to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct feasibility studies and suggest optimal technical approaches.

Workflow Optimization & Module Enhancement

Customize and streamline existing workflows to enhance productivity and user experience. Develop intuitive dashboards and reporting tools within Odoo for better business visibility.

System Integration

Integrate Odoo with third-party applications (e.g., payment gateways, tracking tools, HRMS platforms). Ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability with internal tools and databases.

Performance & Security

Conduct code reviews and optimize system performance for speed, scalability, and reliability. Apply best practices in security, backup, and data integrity protocols.

Technical Support & Documentation

Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolution. Maintain clear documentation of configurations, changes, and development workflows.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay up to date with the latest Odoo versions, modules, and open-source contributions. Recommend and implement system enhancements and emerging technologies that align with our digital roadmap.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Technical Expertise

5+ years of proven hands-on experience in Odoo ERP development and customization. Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, PostgreSQL, and Odoo ORM. Experience with API integration, version control systems (e.g., Git), and containerization tools like Docker.

Preferred Experience

Background in logistics, transport, or service-oriented industries is a strong advantage. Familiarity with DevOps workflows and deployment automation.

Core Skills

Deep understanding of Odoo backend and frontend architecture. Strong analytical, debugging, and performance tuning capabilities. Ability to manage full project life cycles independently or in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Agile mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
