Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs for our e-commerce applications. This role requires strong expertise in Node.js and backend architecture to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities - Backend Development (Node.js)

Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express. Follow the Controller-Service-Repository pattern for clean and scalable code. Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for data modeling and query optimization. Write modular, maintainable, and secure backend code. Implement authentication flows (JWT, OAuth) and performance optimization.
Requirements

Strong experience in Node.js, Express, and backend architecture. Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL and Sequelize ORM. Hands-on experience with designing and optimizing scalable backend systems. Familiarity with Git/GitHub for source control and collaboration. Ability to work independently and write clean, maintainable code.
Nice to Have

Experience with microservices and distributed systems. Familiarity with caching/indexing systems like Redis or Elasticsearch. Previous work on e-commerce projects.
