About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Networking - IT Specialist

to join our IT team. This role involves managing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring system availability, and providing advanced support for networking and IT operations. The candidate will be responsible for network planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and security while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN). Manage firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and other security appliances. Monitor network performance, conduct troubleshooting, and resolve escalated issues. Ensure network security, data protection, and compliance with IT standards. Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders for system enhancements. Support IT operations including servers, storage, and virtualization environments. Maintain detailed technical documentation and asset inventory. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior IT team members.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

7+ years' experience

in networking and IT infrastructure roles. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper networking equipment. Proven expertise in routing, switching, and firewall management. Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and network protocols. Experience with Windows and Linux server environments. Strong knowledge of network security, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable:

Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent. ITIL certification and knowledge of IT service management. Experience with VMware, cloud platforms, and enterprise storage systems. Familiarity with SIEM, monitoring tools, and enterprise IT management systems.
