Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Position Type: Outsourced 1 Year (Extendable)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a robust enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security across LAN, WAN, and network security environments.
This role involves hands-on management of core networking components such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers. The candidate should bring strong expertise in Juniper, FortiGate, VPN technologies, and F5 BIG-IP, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimization.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable network solutions to meet business requirements.
• Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise routers and switches (primarily Juniper).
• Implement and support routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP).
• Administer network security devices, including FortiGate firewalls (policies, NAT, VPNs).
• Deploy and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers to ensure high availability and optimized application delivery.
• Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and proactively resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents using packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Plan and execute network capacity upgrades and bandwidth optimization.
• Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and change records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and mentor junior network engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 networking, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware, especially Juniper.
• Proven expertise in firewall management and VPN configurations (Fortinet FortiGate).
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers, including traffic management and SSL offloading.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise network engineering.

Preferred Certifications

• Cisco CCNP / CCIE
• Juniper JNCIP / JNCIE
• Fortinet NSE 4 or higher
• F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA)
• Vendor-neutral certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+)
• Fortinet NSE 1, NSE 2, NSE 3 (client-requested, added verbally)
