Job description:
Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors in accordance with company procurement policies.
Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal pricing and timelines
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.
Review and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with project schedules.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and delivery schedules.
Provide regular updates to senior management on procurement status and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other essential data using procurement software or systems.
