Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior MEP Engineer

to lead, coordinate, and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for construction projects in Sharjah. The role involves overseeing design, installation, and execution of MEP systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all MEP-related activities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting). Coordinate MEP design and execution with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Ensure compliance with

SEWA regulations

and obtain necessary approvals. Monitor site execution, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Prepare progress reports, project documentation, and ensure adherence to project timelines. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site teams. Manage cost control, material selection, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

(Master's degree is an advantage).

7-12 years of MEP engineering experience

, with at least 3 years in the UAE. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, local authority standards (SEWA/FEWA), and international codes. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP design tools

. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
