We are looking for an experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer to join our team.
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings.
The successful candidate will be familiar with all the MEP systems and capable of designing and analyzing complex systems.
They should also be able to collaborate effectively with different teams to ensure the building systems meet the needs of the occupants and align with construction standards and codes.
Responsibilities
Design and implement mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings
Work closely with architects and other engineers to ensure designs are integrated seamlessly
Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction specifications
Develop MEP drawings and specifications
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations
Conduct cost estimation and prepare budget reports
Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications
Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, and engineers, to ensure job success
Review and critique proposed changes to engineering standards, policies, or details
They are involved in every aspect of a building's design and operation, from the ventilation and air conditioning to the lighting and plumbing systems.
Their duties and responsibilities include:
Designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for new and existing buildings
Reviewing and analyzing the specifications and designs of a building's MEP systems
Collaborating with architects and other engineers to integrate MEP systems into the overall building design
Ensuring the designed systems meet all safety and performance requirements
Using CAD or other design software to create detailed MEP system plans and diagrams
Inspecting and supervising the installation of MEP systems to ensure they are installed correctly and functioning optimally
Performing system calculations and preparing specifications, reports, and other documentation
Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with the MEP systems during the construction or operation of the building
Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in MEP engineering to continuously improve system efficiency and sustainability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
* MEP ENGINEER: 3 years (Preferred)
