Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical design development for high-rise building projects
Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and calculations
Coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions
Ensure compliance with UAE standards, safety norms, and client requirements
Support procurement activities by reviewing technical vendor documentation
Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and adherence to design
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
Resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems during construction and commissioning
Prepare progress reports and technical documentation
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
10-15 years of UAE experience, preferably with high-rise building projects
Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, local UAE standards)
Proficiency in mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, etc.)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
