REQUIRED: SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Design for Building Services | HVAC, Plumbing, Gas system, Fire / Smoke protection and Fire Fighting system | Sustainable Solutions

A Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in

designing, coordinating, and overseeing

mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. Specializes in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, smoke management and energy-efficient building solutions, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE, IBC, NFPA, LEED & local authority codes & standards.

CORE EXPERTISE:

? HVAC Systems

Design

- Chilled water systems, Refrigerant system, ductwork, load calculations.

? Plumbing

Design

- Sanitary systems, stormwater, drainage, sprinkler... etc.

? Natural & LPG gas system

Design

? Passive Civil Defense Strategy, Fire protection & Smoke management system

Design

? AUTOCAD, BIM & Revit MEP - Proficient in clash detection, and coordination

? Energy Efficiency & Sustainability - LEED, Estidama, energy modeling, retrofitting for green buildings

? Code Compliance & Regulations - ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC, IMC, and local building codes

? Construction Support -

RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, material submittals & site remote support for Resident engineers/ inspector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead Mechanical design teams for high-rise, hospital, data center, and mixed-use projects.

- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and psychrometric analysis.

- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve clashes.

- Review Mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and constructability.

- Optimize building automation systems (BAS) for energy savings.

- Review Contractor shop drawing & material submittal for Mechanical system

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

:1. UAE Residency: Preferably based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.2. Availability: Ready to join within a maximum of 15 to 30 days.3. Experience: Min. 10-15 years of experience in the UAE (mandatory). 4. Bachelor of Mechanical engineering with equivalency & ADM Registered Practicing Mechanical Engineer 5. Industry Background: Prior experience in consultancy offices only or project
management firms, working on various project types, including residentialand commercial buildings, villa compounds, and governmental buildings.6. Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written).7. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of all MEP regulations, contractual matters,
correspondences, pricing analysis, etc.8. Problem Solving Skills: Solid background in handling site issuesefficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
